Costs: 50% non-refundable deposit is required 2 weeks prior to the visit. Students (K – Grade 12) - $4.25
Adults – 1 free for every 4 students or the cost is $4.25 for each additional adult
Teacher – 1 free for every 20 students or the cost is $4.25 for each additional teacher/staff member
Advance Booking: Preferred but not required. They have had rural schools book daysahead.

What to expect? The group is self guided and allowed to take part in all of the exhibits and stage shows. Stage shows are on a set schedule available online. This field trip is focused on the exhibit “My Home Planet Earth”. This is an exhibit where students can participate in hands-on activities that explore human’s impact on earth and habitats. Students explore concepts like water and air pollution. From this exhibit students will be allowed the opportunity to explore other areas of the Science Centre.
You are welcome to stay as long as you like and none of the exhibits are shut off for privacy.

Interdependence – Students will recognize that their bodies, as well as all life need water to survive.
- Students will recognize that they have a responsibility to take action and help to keep the earth a cleaner place. (Not littering)
- Students will recognize that they need to conserve the environment and be conscious of their own actions.
Decision Making – Students will discuss and make decisions about littering, polluting and taking care of the environment at home and school.
